One of our customers, soon-to-be-retired chief librarian, Ken Roberts is featured in a Q&A in today’s Spec. Lots of interesting talk about technology and the always changing role libraries play in our community. What really caught my eye was his local book pick:

“Falling Into Place by John Terpstra – This amazing book was just reprinted by Gaspereau Press. In superb language, it reminds us that we live in a place of great natural beauty. I recently read it for the second time.”

We still have a few copies left after a busy holiday season – but are expecting a re-order very soon.

So after a week closed after the holidays and a few days to get readjusted to “shop-life” – we’re happy to report we are back at full-force and regular hours – Tuesday – Saturday 10am-6pm. We are in the midst of doing some inventory and general clean up and preparing to do a bunch of new orders. For the last week leading up to Christmas – Mixed Media will be open the following hours:

Sunday Dec. 18: 12noon – 4pm

Monday – Thursday 10am-6pm

Friday Dec. 23: 10am-7pm

Saturday Dec. 24 – Christmas Eve: 10am – 4pm
