About
Mixed Media is locally-owned and operated by Dave Kuruc and Teresa Devries. Opened in 2005 in rented premises at 174 James St. North, Mixed Media quickly established itself as a community arts hub helping to create and maintain the monthly James North Art Crawl with neighbouring galleries and shops. In 2008, Mixed Media moved into its own space at the corner of a century-old building at 154 James St. North. October 2010 marks the shop's 5th anniversary of creatively bringing arts and community together.
